8th Annual Leif Eriksson Day Row and Run

Leif Eriksson Day Row and Run hosts their 8th annual event on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021. The event consists of a one-mile boat race and 5k foot race and celebrates the life of Leif Eriksson. All net proceeds support the Rayder Den at Charlevoix Middle High School. Beginning at Depot beach, the one-mile boat race leads participants to Ferry Beach. The 5k will traverse along a road course in the city of Charlevoix. Registration is open until the day of the event. Registration up to 9/18 is $30 and includes a collectible t-shirt. $35 from 9/19 to 9/30 and $40 up to the day of the event. The Rayder Den services Middle and High School students who are experiencing food insecurity. The Rayder Den is staffed by members of the Christ Episcopal Church, First Congregational Church, and St Mary’s Catholic Church.
