GAYLORD, MI – The Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce will again hold a Legislative Update with Senator Jim Stamas and State Representative Triston Cole from 8:00 to 10:00 AM on August 16th, 2019 at the University Center for an informative discussion.

In just two months, we will gather to deliberate this year’s legislative priorities in a discussion style forum with two of our legislators. Each will speak to the items that are currently in progress with the legislature as well as upcoming motions. This will be an opportunity to learn about current proposals and ask questions that pertain to the development of local businesses.

Senator Jim Stamas was elected to the Senate in 2014 and serves the 36th district which encompasses Otsego County. Representative Triston Cole was also elected to his position in the Michigan House of Representatives in 2014 to serve the 105th district, also encompassing Otsego County.
