FRIDAY & SATURDAY, AUG. 11 & 12, 2023 The 44th Annual Michaywé Arts & Crafts Fair on August 11-12 will feature one-of-a-kind handmade crafts, distinctive indoor and outdoor décor, original artwork, creative natural products, beautiful jewelry, and unique foods. Located just south of Gaylord, the fair draws thousands of visitors from all over northern Michigan each summer. The 2023 juried show will be held in the park-like setting adjacent to Michaywe's award-winning Inn the Woods restaurant and picturesque Pines Golf Course, Artists and crafters will showcase their work in more than 80 booths both inside the clubhouse and under the shade trees around the pond and fountain at the two-day fair. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12. The Michaywé grounds and clubhouse is located at 1535 Opal Lake Road, which is just a few miles south of downtown Gaylord. (Take I-75 Exit 279 and follow the signs.) Admission is free.
