Horizon Bank Completes Third Year of Giving Back Through Horizon Cares Day
Michigan City, Indiana – Horizon Bank proudly came together for its third annual Horizon Cares Day on Tuesday, September 16th. For one day each year, all branches close to allow Advisors the chance to dedicate their time to the neighborhoods they serve.
This year, nearly 800 Advisors volunteered with more than 80 nonprofit organizations across Indiana and Michigan. From food pantry’s and assisting at shelters to lending a hand at Habitat for Humanity sites, the projects focused on meeting local needs and creating lasting impact.
As part of Horizon Cares Day, there was also an awards program where eight Advisors were honored with the Community Service and Leadership Awards, recognizing their exceptional dedication and highlighting those who go above and beyond in serving others.
“Horizon Cares Day is a powerful reminder of what can happen when we come together for the common good,” said Thomas Prame, Horizon Bank’s CEO. “By volunteering side by side with community partners, our Advisors are not only meeting immediate needs but also helping to build lasting connections.”
With each passing year, Horizon Cares Day continues to grow as a meaningful tradition, reinforcing the bank’s deep commitment to giving back and supporting strong, thriving communities.
